Dear Friends of JN Adam,
It’s hard to imagine that the place I called home from 1967 to 1971 and where my father worked for many years has not been revitalized. I lived in Staff House #1 from the time I was four years old until we moved to Gowanda, entering the 4th grade.
My fondest memories include sledding on the staff house grounds and having complete run of the forest. The few of us that lived on site lived a life like Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn without any care or concern for our safety. In later years it occurred to me that we had been all along under the curious and watchful eyes of the hospital staff and security officers.
I am curious to know where things stand with the sale of the property. I understand that it has been in litigation, but did not know if your organization has been able to reach your preservation objectives or at least be in a favorable position to do so post litigation.
If you would so kindly refer me to a member who can chat with me, I would like to better understand how I may be of assistance.
Sincerely,
Thomas A. Militello
